A local group is calling for the resignation of NPCA Board Chair Dave Bylsma.
For Our Kids Niagara sent an open letter to the conservation authority yesterday, after finding out that Bylsma is the National President of the Christian Heritage Party.
The group says the NPCA Chair, shouldn't be a leader for a party which believes climate change is a hoax.
It would like Bylsma to step down from the Christian Heritage Party, and issue a statement saying he believes in the science behind climate change.
If he fails to do so, the group says Bylsma should be dismissed from the NPCA Board.
The open letter has been posted on the For Our Kids Niagara Facebook page.
Bylsma is also the Mayor of West Lincoln.
