The NRP has released the most recent list of impaired drivers.
Between October 11th and 17th, charges were laid against five people for impaired driving by alcohol or drugs, refusing to provide a breath or blood sample, or driving with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 mgs or higher of alcohol in 100 ml of blood.
The list includes one person each from Niagara Falls, Welland, St. Catharines, Lincoln and Thorold.
In addition to charges, each person also received a 90 day license suspension.
Anyone who spots a suspected impaired driver is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or the Niagara Regional Police Service Traffic Safety Hotline at 905-688-4111.
The NRP says impaired driving is the leading cause of criminal deaths in the country.
