Heartland Forest in Niagara Falls to receive 100K
The federal government is kicking in some cash for some tourism organizations across the Niagara Region in an effort to attract more visitors.
Niagara MP's Vance Badawey and Chris Bittle announcing 1.3 million for 11 tourism organizations yesterday.
Among those receiving the cash are Heartland Forest in Niagara Falls who will get $100,000 to install Indigenous interpretive exhibits, another 100K each for the Niagara Parks Foundation to support the development of a new outdoor artificial ice skating loop in Niagara Falls, and the Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum.
