Members of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario have decided to vote in favour of the deal, with 97 percent of its members giving the thumbs up.
The three-year-deal includes salary increases of one percent a year plus four percent annual increases to benefits.
It also includes a two-year Support for Students fund to address special education, English language learning and mental health.
The fund is worth $89-milion and the ETFO says it will create 434 teacher positions.
The union represents elementary school teachers in the District School Board of Niagara.
