A word of warning from Environment Canada.
A frost advisory is in effect for both the northern and southern Niagara areas.
It's expected to start tonight as temperatures fall to about 0 degrees.
It'll end when temperatures warm up on Saturday morning.
You're advised to cover up plants and take preventative measures to protect trees and crops, as frost may cause damage to them.
A special weather statement also remains in effect, with winds up to 70 or 80 km/hr expected into the evening.
The winds are expected to taper off tonight, but Environment Canada warns that there may be isolated power outages.
You're advised to secure any loose items you may have outside.
