Weather office is tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing nickel sized hail
Environment Canada says severe thunderstorms could impact St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Lincoln, Welland, Pelham, Fonthill, Short Hills Provincial Park, Thorold, Vineland, Jordan and Fenwick.
As of 6:12 pm the storm was located near Beamsville moving east at 35 km/h.
The weather office issues thunderstorm warnings when they are imminent or occurring and are likely to produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds and torrential rainfall.
