3-people from Niagara Falls are charged, they have bail hearings today, one of them with assault for resisting arrest
Three people from Niagara Falls are charged with the latest drug trafficking bust, and waiting for a bail hearing today.
Last month police say they began monitoring the alleged sale of drugs from a Niagara Falls house.
Yesterday they searched it, and found:
- 263 grams of suspected Fentanyl with an approximate street value of $9000
- 121 grams of suspected Methamphetamine (Crystal Meth) with an approximate street value of $2400
- 102 grams of suspected Cocaine with an approximate street value of $10,000
38-year old Correll Slawter is charged:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl) contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Methamphetamine) ) contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine) contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000 contrary to section 355(b) of the Criminal Code
- Assault with the intent to resist arrest contrary to section 270 (1)(b)
34-year old John McMullen is charged:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl) contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Methamphetamine) contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine) contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Failing to Comply with Release Order contrary to section 145(5) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Police also charging 34-year old Michelle Filliter for an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with probation.
