Police issued the charge after a boy was killed late July in a St. Catharines aquatic centre parking lot
An update from police concerning the tragedy at a St. Catharines aquatic centre that claimed the life of a young boy.
It was July 31st when officers were called to find the child had been struck and killed by a vehicle in the parking lot, at the corner of Carlton and Niagara Streets.
The driver remained at the scene.
Police have charged the 74-year old St. Catharines resident driving the car with Careless Driving Causing Death.
The driver was issued a provincial summons notice and has a future court date.
