Police were called to the scene in Niagara Falls in January
We have an update to a fatal collision in Niagara Falls in which a 79-year old pedestrian died.
Police were called to the corner of Mcleod and Dorchester Roads on January 27th, finding a car made a turn onto Mcleod, but hit a pedestrian as he crossed the street.
The pedestrian died later.
On Wednesday, police charged the driver, a 63-year old man from Thorold, with careless driving causing death.
He appears in court in June.
Police add since this is a provincial offense, not Criminal Code, his name is not being released.
