Dave Bylsma is responding to a call for his resignation as Chair of the NPCA Board.
The group For Our Kids Niagara says Bylsma shouldn't lead the conservation authority, if he's also the National President of the Christian Heritage Party.
Bylsma says one of the main reasons he is with the party, is for it's pro-life stance.
The CHP doesn't believe in man-made climate change.
The St. Catharines Standard says Bylsma is all for reducing air pollution, but doesn't classify carbon dioxide released by industry as pollution.
For Our Kids Niagara recently sent an open letter to the NPCA. You can read it online here.
Bylsma is also the Mayor of West Lincoln.
