Contact tracing and case management play a big role in the framework for re-opening Ontario’s economy.
Officials with Niagara Region Public Health were happy to see this because it’s already one of their three priorities for stopping the spread of the virus.
Whenever someone tests positive Public Health determines when that individual was infectious, and they contact those who may be at risk catching it.
Public Health has posted a video all about the contact tracing process on it’s YouTube page.
It has increased its capacity for contact tracing and case management almost eight-fold over the past six weeks.
