The City of St. Catharines is marking National Volunteer Week.
Jeffrey Lennox has been named the Margaret and Robin MacLennan Youth Volunteer of the Year for his work with the Yaguar Sport and Social Club.
Lennox created online programs for the club while acting as an ambassador for youth new to Canada.
The City is also recognizing Len Bates as the 2021 Mayor's Volunteer of the Year.
Bates is being heralded for his charity work with the Kiwanis Club of St. Catharines.
This year, there are 29 Volunteer Award Winners, and five MyHoodSTC Recognition Award recipients.
