City of St. Catharines Opens Applications for Community Garden Funding

Charities and non-profits looking to build or expand a community garden can apply for matching funds from the City.

It's time to put the "garden" in Garden City!

The City of St. Catharines is lending its support to charities and non-profits looking to establish new community gardens and improve existing ones.

Applications for Community Garden funding are now open.

Incorporated charities and non-profits can apply for matching funds from the City to cover up to half of eligible start-up costs, including lumber, soil, seeds, rain barrels and more.

Interested groups must apply online by Wednesday, March 9th, and all projects must be completed by October 31st.
