Canada's captain says she's retiring at the end of the year
The captain of Canada's women's soccer team has announced plans to retire from international soccer.
Christine Sinclair, who is the world's all-time scorer, says she'll call it quits for Canada in December.
The 40 year old has four more games scheduled with the team, starting with two against Brazil later this month.
She plans to spend one more season with her club team, the NWSL's Portland Thomas.
During her career, Sinclair has scored 190 international goals.
