Two people facing charges for dangerous driving, drug possession, assault and flight from police.
Two people are facing charges following an incident that occurred yesterday afternoon.
OPP Constable Kevin Westhead says the NRP attempted to stop a UHaul in the area of Highway 406 and Highway 20 in Fonthill.
The OPP were then called, as the UHaul headed along Highway 406 towards St. Catharines before heading into Lincoln.
The UHaul tried to hit an officer as a spikebelt was deployed in the area of North Service Road and Victoria Avenue.
The OPP arrested the pair, whose identities have not been released.
Charges laid include dangerous driving, flight from police, assault and drug possession.
