Police say it happened at construction sites in Welland
Police have laid more charges in relation to a number of break and enters of construction sites in Welland during September.
Yesterday, they used a search warrant at a home in the Niagara Street and Lancaster Drive area, finding multiple bottles of stolen alcohol, and keys to heavy equipment.
Police arrested 29-years old Steven Mamone of Welland. He is charged with:
- Theft of Motor Vehicle – Heavy Machinery from a Construction Site
- Possession of Stolen Property
- Break and Enter (5 Counts)
- Fail to comply
He has a bail hearing today.
Police also charged 29-year old Jonathan Mamone, of Welland, with the same charges, he is currently in police custody.
