Company issues statement on Twitter
A Canadian ice cream maker has sent out a tweet to clarify what it calls misinformation regarding its treatment of unvaccinated employees.
Chapman's Ice Cream officials explains they did not fire any unvaccinated workers despite rumours to the contrary.
The Markham based company also explaining why workers who received COVID vaccines were paid $1 more an hour.
Officials say they received the top up because the company assumed the costs of rapid tests for unvaccinated employees.
Chapman's adding all unvaccinated employees have now received the one dollar raise.
