Police say they were called early this morning to the scene on Fitch Street in Welland
The damage estimate is heavy after an early morning house fire in Welland.
Police say they were called alongside Welland fire department just after midnight, to the scene on Fitch Street.
They found the 2nd floor and attic completely lit up, but firefighters eventually got it under control.
Police tell us no one was home, and there were no injuries to firefighters.
Damage is estimated at $1.5-million, with no cause determined yet.
