Two people had to be taken to hospital with minor injuries, after a vehicle went in the water in the north end of St. Catharines.
Police were called out to the Lighthouse Road and Michigan Ave area shortly after 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
A 72-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman were able to get out of the vehicle safely, thanks to local bystanders in the area.
The NRP is investigating and no charges have been laid at this time.
