They say Canadians are being photographed, and fingerprinted at the border when staying longer than 30 days, designed to enhance border security and verify travelers identities.
Canadians are generally exempt from visa requirements for most short-term visits, but must apply for an I-94 form, for longer stays, or for employment or study.
As for claims border officials are searching cell phones, leading to delays, that is false, with less than 0.01% of travelers searched.
They add allegations that political beliefs trigger inspections are baseless and irresponsible.
