Liberal Leader Trudeau facing criticism as Statistics Canada reports rising inflation rates.
The leaders of Canada's federal political parties are speaking on the issue of inflation.
Earlier today, Statistics Canada revealed data showing the inflation rate rose over 4.1 percent last month, which is an 18 year high.
The agency says rising gas and housing prices are to blame.
On the campaign trail, Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole told supporters the findings indicate Canadians are facing an "affordability crisis."
Meanwhile, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh and Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau both vowed to introduce measures to bring down the price of housing.
