Parents getting fed up with delays
We have heard of the struggle school bus companies are having finding enough drivers to get kids to and from school, but Buffalo School Superintendent Dr. Kriner Crash is proposing an unusual solution.
Call in the National Guard.
Cash made the suggestion at a meeting last night noting members of the National Guard all hold the proper licence to drive a bus.
There is a precedent that has been set by the state of Massachusetts which called in the Guard this month to drive kids to school
So far Niagara Student Transportation Services says there are enough drivers to handle all the routes, but there is a shortage of spare drivers should full time drivers start calling in sick.
