NRP say, with help from other organizations, three people charged
A major update from police as they investigate that explosion and fire at Ssonix Products in St. Catharines.
Emergency crews were called to the site on Keefer Road in January of last year, finding a critically hurt St. Catharines man, who later died.
Police say, in conjunction with the Ontario Fire Marshall's office, the St. Catharines Fire Department, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of the Environment, and the provincial police Urban Search and Rescue Team, three people have been charged.
60-year old Steve Baker and 61-year old Sharon Baker, both of Petersburg, Ontario, and 38-year old Tyler Baker of Scotland, Ontario are charged with criminal negligence causing death and arson by negligence.
Police add all three were released, with a court date of January 3rd.
