Evidence obtained from KIK Messenger
A man from Beamsville is facing child pornography charges.
Last month, police launched an investigation into the exploitation of children.
Earlier today, officers searched a home in Beamsville.
Detectives found evidence from the instant messaging application KIK Messenger, and identified an anonymous account that contained sexual content of children.
Hunter Beaupre-Peters, 25, faces the following charges:
- Possess Child Pornography
- Access Child Pornography
- Make Child Pornography Available
A bail hearing will take place later today.
