The Conservative MP for Niagara Falls is now the Deputy Shadow Minister for Transport.
Tony Baldinelli was appointed to the position on Friday.
He’ll be working closely with Todd Doherty, the Conservative Shadow Minister of Transport.
Together they will provide input and policy oversight on the transportation portfolio, on behalf of the official opposition.
Baldinelli is excited to get to work.
"There are many important federal transportation policy matters both local to Niagara and across our great country. This will be a busy portfolio with a lot of opportunity for policy advancement, as well as needed oversight over this government’s proposed future transportation initiatives."
Chris Bittle, the Liberal MP for St. Catharines, became Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transportation earlier this month.
