Niagara police have laid drug charges against 2 people after a 45-year old man was found dead in Pelham.
Police were called April 11th, an investigation leading to discovery of a fatal drug overdose.
NRP identified potential sources for the illegal drugs that were trafficked to the man before his death.
Yesterday, police used search warrants on a vehicle and at a home in Stoney Creek, seizing $25,000 in fentanyl patches and oxycodone pills along with almost $34,000 in cash.
51 year-old Radomir Horvath is charged, and had a bail hearing yesterday in St. Catharines, while 49-year-old Silvie Horvathova was also charged, but later released with a future court date and promise to appear.
