Two men from BC were arrested, and one from Niagara Falls, after another man shot last month
Police have arrested three people, in Niagara Falls and Thorold, after a shooting last month in the Bunting Road and Carlton Street area of St. Catharines.
A 39-year old man was seriously hurt, police saying his injuries were considered non life threatening.
Yesterday, police arrested 46-year old Phillip England of British Columbia, charged with:
- Robbery with a Firearm
- Kidnapping
- Aggravated Assault
- Attempted Murder
- Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound
- Possess Firearm Without Holding a License
- Possess Restricted Firearm Knowingly Not Holding a License
- Possess Unloaded Regulated Firearm
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle
- Utter Threats
They also arrested 35-year old Devon Le, also from British Columbia:
- Robbery with a Firearm
- Kidnapping
- Aggravated Assault
- Attempted Murder
- Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound
- Possess Firearm Without Holding a License
- Possess Restricted Firearm Knowingly Not Holding a License
- Possess Unloaded Regulated Firearm
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle
54-year old Joseph Delgobbo of Niagara Falls was picked up for accessory after the fact to commit indictable offence.
All three have bail hearings.
