Explain advisory is mainly for those not double dosed
After issuing a travel advisory recommending Americans stay home and avoid travelling to Canada because of high rates of COVID-19, officials with the CDC are now doing a bit of backpedaling
They say the directive to reconsider travel to Canada is targeted at Americans who are not vaccinated against the virus.
Right now only about 61 percent of eligible Americans are fully vaccinated.
The head of the Centers for Disease Control, Doctor Rochelle Walensky says people who are fully vaccinated and willing to wear face masks are OK to travel.
But only full vaccinated Americans are allowed entry into Canada.
