Suspect may have been operating unlicensed babysitting/daycare service out of his residence
Niagara Regional Police have arrested a 50 year old Fort Erie man in connection to an allegation of child sexual abuse.
Police say the alleged abuse occurred inside a residential dwelling involving an adolescent male.
Sean Schneider is charged with sexual assault on a person under 16 as well as sexual interference with a person under 16.
The victim and Schneider were known to one and other.
Investigation has revealed that Schneider may have been operating an unlicensed babysitting/daycare service out of his residence in Fort Erie.
As a result, detectives have reason to believe there may be additional victims.
Schneider was being held for a bail hearing.
