An uptick in new COVID-19 cases in Ontario.
Officials are reporting 492 new infections and 2 deaths today, one of which occurred over a month ago.
Out of today's new cases, 167 are in fully vaccinated individuals.
There were 28,906 tests completed yesterday.
At the moment, 261 people are hospitalized with the virus, along with 149 patients in ICUs due to COVID-19.
About 87.7 percent of eligible Ontarians have one vaccinations and 83.6 percent have two doses.
