Public health officials report another COVID-19 death in Niagara, along with 15 hospitalizations.
Another person has died of COVID-19 in Niagara.
Niagara Region Public Health says the area's death toll is now at 432, after the death of a person in the 80+ age group.
This comes as 41 new cases are reported in the region.
There are 15 Niagara Health patients with the virus, and two are in the ICU.
Thirteen of the patients are unvaccinated.
Throughout the region, there are 11 active outbreaks and 41 active cases.
Over 705,000 vaccinations have been administered, with 75.7 percent of local residents having at least one shot and 70.8 percent with both.
