Currently, 1403 people are battling the virus in hospital, with 46 percent being admitted for other reasons.
There are 364 patients in ICUs, and 82 percent were admitted due to the virus.
Just over 31.3 million vaccine doses have been administered, with 92.4 percent of Ontarians aged 12 and older having one dose and 90.2 percent having two.
