Niagara Health reporting 17 patients in hospital with virus.
Over two dozen new COVID-19 cases in Niagara today.
Public Health is reporting 25 new infections.
The death toll remains at 439, and there are 17 Niagara Health patients with the virus.
Three of the patients are in ICUs, and eight are unvaccinated.
There are ten active outbreaks in the region, as well as 240 active cases.
St. Catharines has the most active cases with 79, followed by 36 in Niagara Falls and 33 in Lincoln.
More than 743,000 vaccinations have been administered in Niagara.
About 77.8 percent of local residents have at least one shot, and 75.1 percent are fully immunized.
