A dip in the number of new COVID-19 cases in Niagara.
Niagara Public Health is reporting 24 new cases of the virus today.
As of this morning, there are 83 people in local hospitals with COVID-19, and 20 of them are in ICUs.
Variants have been detected in 2,400 cases.
The region has 2,457 active cases, with over half in St. Catharines, Welland and Niagara Falls.
