A dip in the number of new local COVID-19 cases.
Niagara Region Public Health is reporting 22 new COVID-19 infections today.
The death toll remains at 425.
There are 13 Niagara Health patients with the virus, with four ICU patients testing positive for the virus.
Only one of the patients received both COVID-19 shots.
Throughout the region, there are 292 active cases and eight active outbreaks.
Over 682,000 COVID-19 shots have been administered, and 74.1 percent of local residents have at least one dose.
As well, 68 percent of Niagara residents are fully immunized.
