2 Suspects identified in murder of Niagara Falls man

Detectives believe they may try to alter their appearance

Homicide Unit Investigating Niagara Falls Shooting

Detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Homicide Unit continue to investigate this incident. The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Mitchell SNODDON of Niagara Falls.

Detectives with the NRPS Homicide Unit have identified the two suspects involved in this incident.

23-year-old Maroof BANGI and 30-year-old Josta Grace MACNEAL are currently wanted for the following criminal charges:

  • 2nd Degree Murder

Detectives believe that BANGI and MACNEAL may take steps to alter their appearance in order to avoid detection, including:

  • Changes in facial hair
  • Length and/or colour of hair
  • Makeup
  • Clothing styles

Josta MACNEAL is known to have a distinctive feather tattoo located on the left side of her neck.

 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of BANGI or MACNEAL are asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service at (905) 688 4111, option 3, extension 1009134. If either party is observed, please do not approach them and call 911. No firearm has been recovered in this incident, therefore BANGI and MACNEAL are still considered armed and dangerous at this time.
