Niagara Public Health is reporting 189 new cases and one more death today.
The area's death toll is now at 387.
There are 73 people with the virus in nearby hospitals, and 21 of them are in the ICU.
Throughout Niagara, variants have been detected in over 1,900 cases.
St. Catharines, Welland and Niagara Falls have the most active cases.
Port Colborne, Pelham, Lincoln, Grimsby and Thorold are also reporting over 100 active cases each.
