Niagara Health confirming 31 patients battling COVID-19.
A rise in new COVID-19 cases in Niagara today.
Niagara Public Health is reporting 120 new infections.
The area's death toll remains at 518, and there are 31 Niagara Health patients with the virus.
There are 24 patients being treated primarily for COVID-19, along with seven patients with the virus in hospital.
Public Health is also confirming 1,338 active cases and nine active outbreaks, two of which were declared yesterday.
To date, more than 1,016,000 vaccination doses have been administered locally.
About 87.3 percent of Niagara residents aged five and older have one shot, 83.9 percent have two, and 50.4 percent have three.
