Niagara's death toll now at 507.
Niagara Public Health confirming 111 new COVID-19 cases today, as well as another death.
The region's death toll is now at 507.
There are 71 Niagara Health patients with the virus, 52 of which are being treated primarily for COVID-19.
Ten of the patients are in the ICU, and six are unvaccinated.
There are 2,001 active cases, including 660 in St. Catharines, 369 in Niagara Falls and 237 in Welland.
Meanwhile, the region is also reporting 22 active outbreaks.
To date, more than 1 million vaccinations have been administered.
About 87.1 percent of residents aged five and older have one shot and 83.1 percent have two.
