Today we are all asked to start calling out gender bias and discrimination
Today is International Women's Day, a day to "celebrate women's achievements, raise awareness against bias and take action for equality."
On the International Women's Day website organizors note "whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn't enough, action is needed to level the playing field."
Today we are asked to start actively calling out gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping each time we see it.
Today we are asked to cross our arms to show solidarity, take a picture or video and post it to social media using #IWD2022 and #BreakTheBias to encourage more people to commit to helping forge an inclusive world."
