Over 200 New COVID-19 Cases in Niagara

Public Health reports 225 new infections as hospital numbers continue to rise in the region.

Niagara's daily COVID-19 case count is on the rise again.

Officials report 225 new cases today.

The area's death toll remains at 446.

Niagara Health confirms 25 patients with the virus, seven of which are in ICUs.

There are 1,062 active cases, including 287 in St. Catharines and 207 in Niagara Falls.

More than 823,000 vaccine doses have been administered in the region.

About 84.5 percent of residents five and older have their first dose, and 79.8 percent have two.
