Two visitors now allowed at patient's bedside at a time.
As COVID-19 case counts continue to decline in Niagara, Niagara Health is allowing more visitors and support personnel for patients.
Niagara Health confirms that starting today, patients can now have two visitors at their bedside during visiting hours.
As well, all patients, including outpatients, can bring a support person with them, and two parents and/or caregivers can visit the neonatal ICU at anytime together.
Spiritual care visitors who are registered with Niagara Health can now visit parishioners 24/7, instead of scheduling separate trips for each patient.
Everyone entering the hospital must pass a COVID-19 screening test, wear a mask, socially distance when possible and practice hand hygiene, even if they are fully vaccinated.
