The City of Welland and Hunters Pointe Golf Course are working together to tackle issues relating to parking and trespassing on the property.
The owners have asked for the City's help to combat issues resulting from vehicles such as dirt bikes and ATVs on the closed property.
Parking Enforcement will now be allowed to enter the lands to enforce regulations and stop motorists from loading/unloading off-road vehicles.
Signage will also be posted at the property's entrance and exit points.
Those who park on the property without consent will face a $25 fine, and trespassers may be fined by police.
