The Niagara airport working with Air Canada and Landline Company for service to Toronto
The Niagara District Airport keeps growing, as Air Canada and The Landline Company begin motorcoach service between Pearson airport to Niagara.
Niagara's Chief Administrative Officer Dan Pilon says it starts June 15th, with three trips back and forth daily.
He adds they saw Air Canada doing this with other airports. "Mainly YKF, which is Kitchener-Waterloo, and Hamilton as well. We reached out and asked what their thoughts were. The greatest aspect of it was there wasn't a question, they were incredibly excited for our market."
He says you can add this feature when booking online through Air Canada. "If you are booking a flight for Toronto to Vancouver, and that flight was $300, when you book your flight from Niagara to Vancouver, that flight is still $300. So, the portion of the flight, which is the motorcoach from Niagara District Airport, to Toronto Pearson Airport, is of no cost."
He says the coach will have free WiFi, power outlets at every seat, and there's free parking at Niagara airport.
