Unemployment rate at five percent
The Canadian economy added 150,000 jobs last month.
According to Statistics Canada, the unemployment rate remains at five percent.
Most of the jobs added were full time, with the highest gains in the 25 to 54 age group.
Several sectors reported gains, particularly wholesale and retail trade.
Since September, over 326,000 jobs have been added to the economy.
