"Wilma", a bison at the Buffalo Zoo, has died at the age of 29
Some sad news out of the Buffalo Zoo.
Wilma, their oldest North American Bison, has passed away.
In a post on their Twitter page, the zoo said she was euthanized, due to a decline in her health.
The normal life expectancy for bison is 15 to 20 years, but Wilma made it to the age of 29.
She was one of the oldest known bison to live in a North American zoo.
