Actor James Caan Dies at 82

Oscar nominated actor best known for his work in "The Godfather."

Legendary actor James Caan has died at the age of 82.

According to a statement on his official Twitter page, the Godfather actor passed away last night.

Caan was also known for his work in movies such as "Misery" and "The Gambler."

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Jimmy on the evening of July 6.

The family appreciates the outpouring of love and heartfelt condolences and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.
