16 New COVID-19 Cases in Niagara

Eight people remain in local hospitals with the virus.

A dip in the number of new local COVID-19 infections.

Niagara Region Public Health is reporting 16 new cases today, which is down from 44 yesterday and 26 on Saturday.

The area's death toll remains at 438.

There are eight Niagara Health patients battling COVID-19, and three are in the ICU.

More than 734,000 vaccinations have been administered to local residents.

About 77.3 percent of Niagara's community members have one dose, and 74.4 percent are fully immunized.
