The Thorold Community Activities Group (TCAG) and Carousel Players - one of Canada’s oldest and most respected professional theatre for young audience companies - are teaming up to bring Birdsong to Thorold! Recommended for ages 3+ with adult.
About Carousel Players' "Bird Song"
When a giant bird (brought alive by 4 puppeteers) is lost on its migration, it lands in the TCAG’s field and doesn't know how to find its way home. All the little birds of Thorold create a bird puppet that becomes a part of the performance, and will join in singing songs of encouragement and showing the giant bird how to fly. Eventually, with everyone's help, the giant bird is able to take flight and head off on its migration.
